Hampton University (HU) is a dynamic, progressive institution of higher education. HU is a privately endowed, non-profit, non-sectarian, co-educational, historically black university located in southeastern Virginia. Hampton University was founded in 1868 to educate the newly emancipated African Americans. HU has grown into a comprehensive University offering a broad range of technical, liberal arts, pre-professional, professional, and graduate degree programs. For over 130 years. HU has held true to its mission of educating African Americans to be scholars and leaders both nationally and internationally.

Virtual Part Modeling and Simulation VPMAS is one of the many innovative research arms of Hampton University created to further foster the University's commitment for research and development. One of the missions of VPMAS is to provide superior services to our clients through the combined synergistic efforts of industry experts, cutting edge technology and science to create solutions for enhanced safety, preparedness and planning to address man-made or natural threats.
